Boston College Football Tickets
A member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, a Division I Bowl Subdivision (Division I-A), the Boston College Eagles football team was founded in 1892. Then BC President Edward Ignatius Devitt reluctantly gave in to the request of undergraduates Joseph O’Connell and Joseph Drum to start a varsity football team. Drum would become the team’s first head coach while O’Connell was hailed captain.
Starting in 1938, BC became one of the six major college football programs in New England as pronounced by NCAA classifications. The Eagles earned 71-30-0 since the turn of the century and has accumulated a 601-419-36 record. In 2007, they ranked in the AP Top 10, acquired the Atlantic Division Championship and now hold the record for the longest bowl winning streak with 8 consecutive wins.
